About us

The Yellowhammer Invitational is an elite amateur golf tournament hosting players from the United States and abroad. It is held annually, at the start of the summer, and the inaugural edition will be played at Grand National's Lake course, part of the acclaimed Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail (a visually stunning collection of masterpiece golf courses in Alabama). The field will be comprised mostly of college golfers, and will be a great test, having hosted events of distinction such as the NCAA D1 Men's and Women's National Championships, LPGA Tour and Symetra Tour, as well as the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA TOUR. This event is created by the Founders of the Orlando International Amateur, the Sunshine State Amateur and the Next Tee Invitational (all of which are elite amateur tournaments hosted in Florida and welcoming some of the best amateur golfers from the US and abroad).

RTJ GOLF TRAIL AT GRAND NATIONAL

"Voted the #1 public golf facility in America by the readers of Golf World, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. is on record saying that Grand National was the single greatest natural site for golf he had ever seen. Grand National is built on 600-acre Lake Saugahatchee with 32 of the 54 holes draped along its filigreed shores. With countless awards and recognition from every major golf publication, Grand National stands out as perhaps the only property in the country to host the following events and tours: NCAA D1 Men's and Women's National Championships; LPGA Tour; Symetra Tour; Korn Ferry Tour; PGA TOUR."
